Baptism

We believe that baptism is an important step for all Christians.

We also believe that baptism is a visual symbol that you are saved and should by done in front of people who know you.

Therefore we do our baptisms where people live.  If they have a swimming pool and the management will allow, we do them in the pool.  However, most of our mission points do not have a pool so we got creative.

 

For young children, an inflatable swimming pool also works great.

 

When baptizing young children, make sure the parent/guardian understands the child’s decision to follow Christ and approves of the child being baptized. 

 

If a parent cannot attend the baptism, we have them sign a Baptism Consent Form before their child is baptized.

 

We take this water trough and fill it with water and do our baptisms right on property.  (You can buy the trough at any farm supply store.)
