Gastonia Multihousing Conference
Sunday 06 April 2008 at 06:05 am I was blessed with the opportunity to travel to Gastonia and conduct a conference on reaching multihousing communities. We had 11 people attend the conference. It was a great time as we sang kids songs and played youth games and just talked about this amazing and exciting ministry. The greatest Joy was hanging out with Wavey. He came to the conference last year and man did he get it. They have started Mission Gaston. I got to go pray at his community, Highland Hills, and see their community center.
It is great to see how God has used the conference to spread the vision. We saw new works start after last years and I can’t wait to see what God does with this one. Then we have four in Oregon, and hopefully one in Durham and Spanish one in Raleigh this year.
It is great to see the vision grow.
“You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless.
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. Matthew 13 – 16 (NLV)
