Delivering the Gospel with the Groceries

Mission Raleigh has a unique food ministry.  Our Food Ministry started out of a small closet in a local church and as we were faithful with the small ministry, God grew it into one of the leading feeding agencies in our city. 

We supply non-perishables and frozen food.  We stock our shelves with food that can be safely stored and then easily given away without fear of time restraints.

Most of our deliveries are to residents living within the communities we minister in on a regular basis.  We also set up times to deliver food to families and individuals all throughout the city and schedule appointments for food pickups.  The food pantry is not limited to any specific income status, it is available to anyone who has need.  Our food logs and records are confidential, short, and to the point.  They include recipient’s full name, address, date, and initials of volunteer.

 

We praise the Lord for the way He allows us to minister and share the Gospel with countless people throughout the city of Raleigh.  This ministry is simply to point others to Jesus by meeting physical needs.  As a result, many times we find open doors to pray, minister, and share the Gospel with individuals and families who so desperately need to know the Lords cares and loves them.
